We are reaching out to our Central Kentucky Network of Baptists with a heartfelt invitation to minister to the congregation of Riverview Baptist Church and their new pastor, John Cotton, in a very tangible way this Saturday, April 12, beginning at 9:00 AM.
Riverview Baptist, situated near the Kentucky River, was recently impacted by significant flood damage following last week’s storms and heavy rains. The church family is in need of our help to begin restoring their space and recovering from this unexpected blow. This is an all-hands-on-deck kind of request, and it’s one of those moments where we can live out our core belief that we are truly better together.
We especially want to encourage those within our Network who are part of the Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief Team, as well as any individuals in your churches who have experience or skills in water restoration and cleanup, to consider coming alongside Riverview in this effort.

This is a meaningful opportunity to show love, lend strength, and help bring hope to a sister church that is hurting. Let's show up in full force with items to remove mud and debris and remind them they’re not alone.
For more information, or if you have questions about how you or your church can help, please reach out to Pastor Jon Cotton directly at joncotton@windstream.net.
Let’s serve together—because that’s what the body of Christ does.
