A team of pastors will travel to Atlanta from February 24-26 to participate in the North American Mission Board’s (NAMB) AMS Replant Practitioner Lab. This intensive, three-day training is designed to equip Associational Mission Strategists, pastors, and church leaders with hands-on tools for Revitalization and Replanting—critical work in a time when many churches are plateauing or in decline.
The NAMB Replant Initiative and AMS Practitioner Lab are led by Mark Clifton, who has spent over two decades serving and leading churches in need of revitalization and replanting. Under his leadership, NAMB has built a dedicated team to support church leaders and equip them to restore health to struggling congregations. Clifton’s team has been instrumental in NAMB’s efforts to strengthen churches and help ministries reclaim glory for God in places where decline had taken root for years.
For nearly a decade, CKNB has embraced the Replant Initiative as a vital part of our strategy to build a strong base of pastors and leaders within our network who are equipped to lead in revitalization and replanting contexts. It is from the training and hands-on practice at this conference, the CKNB has been fueled to form its Barnabas Team for Church Health and Revitalization, currently serving multiple churches within Central Kentucky in various stages of health assessment and revitalization or replanting strategy.
This year, CKNB Co-Executive Director David Barron will lead a team of four area pastors to participate in the training and gain invaluable tools for the road ahead. As our leaders attend this transformative lab, we ask you to join us in prayer—for safe travels, for wisdom in the training, and for God’s hand on each leader as they work to bring renewal and revitalization to our churches. We trust that this experience will lead to stronger ministries and healthier congregations across Central Kentucky, all for God’s glory.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we seek to build and sustain vibrant, God-honoring churches in our network!
