Ed Goodman named area Coordinator for Gospel to Every Home

Dear CKNB Pastor,

Our network is happy to welcome Ed Goodman as our Gospel to Every Home Coordinator!  Ed is a native Kentuckian, having grown up in Winchester, as is his wife, Emily.  You may know Emily, a Mount Vernon native, from her role as a meteorologist on WLEX-18.  They are excited and thankful to be back home in the Bluegrass.

Ed Goodman has served in Gospel ministry since 2004 in a variety of roles, including youth ministry, pastoral ministry, and church planting.  Most recently, he served as the director of missions (DOM) for the Upper Ohio Valley Baptist Association in West Virginia.  An alumnus of King University (MBA), Union University (MA), and Clear Creek Baptist Bible College (BA), he is passionate about expository preaching, relationship-based discipleship, and church health.  After Jesus Christ, Emily is his greatest love.  Together, they enjoy Kentucky Wildcats basketball, swimming pools in the summer, and special occasions at Brazilian steakhouses.

Ed’s information is listed below – please send your contact information to him (via either text or email) so he has the ability to connect with you personally.

The Gospel to Every Home (GTEH) is a cooperative initiative to mobilize affiliated churches of the Central Kentucky Network of Baptists (CKNB) in prayerfully delivering a set of gospel resources to each of the approximately 250,000 homes in the geographical area of our Network. Ultimately, the goal is for every resident of in our area to have multiple opportunities to hear and respond to the gospel.

The goal is to accomplish this in the first half of 2021. In the coming weeks representatives will be seeking to reach out to all of our churches to begin a conversation about how they can get involved. To make it possible for each of  our Network churches to participate, the CKNB is partnering with the Kentucky Baptist Convention and Saturate USA in providing free resources. Please be in prayer about how your church can cooperate with other CKNB churches in your county/community to accomplish this worthy and ambitious task.

We look forward to seeing the Lord work as we labor together in spreading the Gospel.
