Association Benefits Day

Good Monday Morning! I pray that you are well. The CKNB is happy to offer to our Pastors/Ministers an opportunity to meet with Don Spencer, Director of KBC Church Financial Benefits Department. That day is Monday May 14th beginning @ 9:00 am. There are a few appointment times still available. These appointments are designed for the following:

For Ministers and treasurers who may have questions about

* Their Financial Support Package and how it is structured

* How compensation in their church is reported to the IRS

* Ways they might be able to save taxes.

For Ministers and Church Employees to Discuss issues regarding Retirement planning

  • To enroll or reactivate participation in the Church Retirement Plan (SBC Retirement Plan)
  • To review their contributions and investment choices
  • For those approaching retirement to look at various retirement options to them
  • NOTE: Church Retirement Plan Participants will need to bring a copy of their most recent statements with them or know how to access their account on line.

To schedule a 30 minute appointment with Don Spencer contact the CKNB Offices at office 0r call (859) 254-7747. Appointments will be schooled in 30 minute increments beginning at  9:00 am.

Bivocational Pastors & Wives Retreat

Good morning. The Bivocational Pastors & Wives Retreat is designed for individuals that are engaged in Bivocational pastoral ministry. It will be a weekend filled with encouragement and evangelism tips for pastors and the church. It will be held on October 5-6, 2018 at the Holiday Inn University Plaza in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Pre-registration is open and space is limited. Presently, we only have space for 41 couples left! Please consider reaching out and encouraging one or two of your bivocational pastors and their wives to attend. There is no cost to attend.

Kentucky Baptist Historical Society Meeting

Free Chairs Available

Durban Memorial Baptist Church has some chairs they are no longer using.
Any church needs them can use them. We have 5 of the brown padded chairs and 30 of
the teal green chairs. Contact Russell Zik: (606) 521-8800 if you could use them and to
schedule a time for you to come get them.


AWANA Materials Available

Crosswoods Baptist Church (4991 Harrodsburg Road Nicholasville Rd. 40356) has materials available for AWANA Ministry. If your church is in need please contact Crosswoods Baptist @ (859) 223-1003.

Church in Need of Space

Praise Tabernacle Mission (Haitian Church) is in need of a meeting place for their services. The place where they are currently meeting has been repurposed and will eventually be torn down. If your church has or is aware of a place where they can meet moving forward please contact Pastor Paul Dumay (859) 396-0886.

Penn Avenue Baptist Church (Georgetown) Seeking Part-Time Youth Leader

As I mentioned this past Sunday evening, we are in need of a part time youth leader/ minister that we hope will eventually lead to a full time position (after we relocate & grow some more).  Our location currently is 103 Penn Ave., Georgetown, KY. Hours and salary will be negotiated to accommodate the needs of our developing youth ministry.
